Windows Ten Activation Issues

if you get can not activate windows ten on a laptop (lenovo, ibm, dell etc) it is probably because the bios has a built in product key that has somehow mismatched with windows ten

it will probably say go buy a new copy from the store with an error code like 0xc00400c4 ? (that will vary)

run a command prompt in windows ten and paste the following command into it

wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey

and press entry

it will return key info that you will need

from there goto settings, activation and at the bottom click the change activation key

enter the key and go next

if there is still an error

call microsft at 905 568 0434

press 2 for business and then goto activation

activation will think you have an old style activation windows open

just keep pressing 0 then # 0 then # until they transfer you to a person.
